April Adventures

This baseball season has been a tough one for Kaleb.  His team only won 2 regular season games.  Some of the games were even called because the other team scored so many runs.  He did not like losing one bit!  It was definitely a learning experience in more than one way.  Kaleb played the outfield this year.  He got better and better at running to stop the ball, not letting it get past him, then throwing it to second base (or the cut off person).  This year his team learned so much about the game of baseball.  It was really neat watching them towards the end of the season when they figured out where to throw the ball to get someone out or make a double play.   His team also had some great hitters!  Kaleb is working on keeping his feet still when he swings and not lunging toward the ball when he hits it.  He had some nice hits but needs to get a little stronger yet to hit it past the bases.

We had a double sleepover with Sara and Jaden one weekend.  Here they are with their creations.

The next day we had a treat at McD's...boys had a PJ day:)

New haircuts!

It was HOT already outside, but our pool wasn't open yet.  So we headed down the road to the Y.

Happy Easter!!!  The Easter Bunny always hides their baskets.

Who said chocolate bunnies aren't for breakfast?!

After church we headed over to Aunt Kelly's.  Here I am with Kaleb and Karson:)

Gailey and Gardner kiddos:)  They all get along so well now and really enjoy being around each other.  It makes me sad to have to leave them soon:(

Ready for an egg hunt!

These were some really good egg finders:)  Time to dig in!

One Sunday after church we went to eat with the Conners at Quaker Steak and Lube.  They had an Easter chicken, Easter pictures to paint, and fun cut outs for pictures.  Best of all we got to hang out with some great friends:)
