July Road Trip-Pt 2

While in Ohio, my friend Kim came for a visit with her two adorable little girls.  Here's Molly with Karson, they really got along well:)

Kaleb just loved little Maggie:)

Next up...South Carolina!  We were so happy to be back in SC after a whole year!  We had missed our friends and family so much!!!

The famous peach in Gaffney, SC
 Yea!!!  We're finally back:)

A little dress-up fun...Paisley
 GiGi
Kaleb!
Stephanie along with Eva and Julia made the trip up from Charleston to spend time with us.  The Gardner kiddos joined us for some fun at Chuck E Cheese.  Man can these kids spend some coins quickly:)  And when all the coins ran out they looked under every machine for some more, and found quite a few.  Here's the whole gang.
(back-Kaleb, Alex, Evan, Kassidy, Sara  front-Karson, Eva, Julia)

Julia was obsessed with the card-making machine.  You choose boy or girl, take your picture, then get a card with your picture on it in different careers...too cute:)

We spent a few hot afternoons cooling off in my friend Amanda's pool.  I cannot believe how much her little ones have grown in a year!  They were all swimming, diving, sliding, and splashing non stop:)
(Jaden, Sierra, Evan, Kate)

The slide was a BIG hit with the older ones:)  Here goes Kassidy

Evan's turn

Sara's turn

Karson's turn

Alex's turn

 Here's Amanda's newest addition, baby #6, Aaron

I just know what you're wondering...how many kids can slide at one time?  Well...6!
  Now 7!

Now 8!!!

Picnic time!

Little Aaron

It's been sooooo long since I held a baby this little!

Such a great babysitter!

Fun playing inside, too.  Colton just loves to be silly!

One afternoon we went to Gravitopia with my friend Kim, her son Jaden, and the Gardner kids.  This is a fun place with trampolines, dodgeball, obstacles, and a swing.  The kids definitely burned off a ton of energy here!

Evan and Alex loved the dodgeball area

 Sara the climber

 Flip time

Alex attempting the rope ladder.  Pretty impossible if you ask me!

Kaleb with best friend Jaden.  These two were also inseparable!  It was like we were never even gone.  They got to playing and talking right away and never stopped.

Two of Kassidy's friends met up with us for lunch one day, then the girls went to swim:)  It was just like old times with these girls.

Kristina, Ansley, Sara, and Kassidy

These two are BCF's...Best Cousins Forever:)  They pretty much did everything together and were inseparable.  It makes me so sad that they're so far apart.

Just to prove we had some downtime...chillin on the couch!

Back at Kim's house there was plenty to keep the kids busy.  Sibling boxing match anyone?  Man, this girl is one tough cookie!

Once Keith met back up with us we had a dinner out with Donnie and the kids.  These kids were so excited to be together again that they were so goofy!

The girls had a serious problem laughing...boy did that bring back memories with my sisters:)

Group selfie!

Dinner out with the girls.  We had beer...

...they had milkshakes!

Sadly, our time was up after a few days.  Good bye's are so hard:(

During our whole road trip we found all but 7 states on license plates.  Pretty amazing!

Back home you'l notice how HOT it is, and how far we traveled in almost 3 weeks.  LOTS of miles!!

I can't thank everyone enough.  We had so many comfy beds to sleep in, yummy meals to eat, so many awesome outings to do together, great conversations, the list goes on and on.  It truly was a FANTASTIC vacation:):):)  I also want to thank our friends in Tx who were gracious enough to help watch the dogs at home.  Since Jack is now 13 it was the easiest way for him.  We really couldn't have made the trip without their help.

We love and miss everyone VERY much!!!  Don't forget...you're always welcome to come visit us in Austin:)  Hope to see you soon!

(Sorry I don't have any pics of Kim (Ohio), Amanda, Kim (SC), Lindsey, Sarah, Mason, or Colton.  We did so many cool things but I wasn't always good at taking pics).
