More from February

When Keith was home we also had Karson's end of season basketball party.  The kids all got to make their own pizzas:)

Kassidy and Sara joined in the pizza making, too!

 Cheese Kaleb!  (literally)

 Karson with Coach K

SOOOO excited for a trophy!

The next weekend we were off the a cheer competition in Atlanta.  The team did an amazing job!!!

Just showing off my super skills for a teased pony tail:)

Here's a cool pic of the pyramid during their routine.  Kassidy is up, third from your left.

And the winner is...Rockstar Ting Tings!!!  Each girl got a medal and a nice fleece jacket that says national champions.

Banner and trophy for the gym

I went in to pick up Karson from school one day and saw this hanging from the ceiling...so cute!

The next weekend we were off to Raleigh for another cheer competition.  This was officially Kassidy's birthday so we celebrated with dinner out at the Cheesecake Factory.

Our server surprised Kassidy with a special dessert...I'm glad it was big enough for us all...heehee:)

Day #1. It's amazing what these cute girls can get Karson to do.

After their performance we had the rest of the day free so we headed to the mall for lunch and shopping...and goofing around:)  Karson, Kassidy, and Sierra

Dress-up at Claires...I don't think he liked being dressed up in girl stuff!

 Day #2

Sierra and Kassidy.  They became great friends during the season, as did her mom and I:)  We all shared two-bedroom suite, had pizza one night, swam a bunch, and had a made-to-order breakfast each morning.  It sure was fun to spend time together!

Awards time.  Guess who won???  That's right...the Ting Tings!  They are really on a roll:)

I was lucky enough to have some help with the kiddos while Keith was out of town.  Between my sister and friends, they watched the kids all weekend so I could go visit my hubby:)

Keith has an apartment in San Antonio, so a visit would not be complete without a stop at the Alamo.  We learned a lot about Texas history that day!  I'm sure our kids will learn a whole lot more this next school year once we move.

Since we're gonna move to Austin, we drove up for the day/night and checked things out.  We even visited the Capitol in downtown.  It seems like Austin is a great place to live:)  We had fun walking around downtown, eating yummy pizza, looking at different parts of the city, and making a wish list for our new house.

This weekend definitely went way too fast...but I'm so thankful we had a chance to be together:)  We really needed time to reconnect as a couple.  This long distance thing is the pits!
