Baseball and more baseball!

Baseball season was a tad busier this year with both boys playing.  Karson was so excited he finally got to play!  Kaleb made great progress this year in both his hitting and fielding.  He's getting stronger and faster!

Kaleb's team was the Detroit Tigers (one of these years we're bound to get the Indians!)

Karson's team was the Boston Red Sox and Keith was his coach!  He just had to have this cool necklace every game he played.

Of course we picked #24 after his Papa:)
Keith's pre-game huddle getting the kids fired up to play ball!  Keith has coached a few times now and I must say he's doing a great job...the compliments just poured in from parents this year.

Of course it wouldn't be preschool ball without some playing in the dirt:)

This game Karson saw a lot of action at first base.

After a few games the boys started tackling each other for the ball...you can tell practices end when games start up.  They needed quite a few reminders to break this habit!

This year Kaleb's age group had to hit the ball within 5 pitches or they were out.  There's no limit on the number of outs, though and scores aren't kept.  I don't' think he struck out one time all season long!

Mid-way through the season Keith started pitching to some of the better hitters.  By the end of the season all of the boys managed to get a hit without using the T...a big accomplishment for them!

I wish I could find the picture my dad took of me running in the state track meet in high school.  It's a shot exactly like this one in action.  He's definitely got some running skills!

All of my boys (Keith included) enjoyed a fun baseball season.  Kaleb and Karson learned so much this year.  It's fun to see how Kaleb is getting stronger and faster each year and comprehending more and more about the actual rules of the game.  He truly loves baseball!  Who knows if this will end up being his thing when he gets older?  We'll have to watch and see:)

Don't forget to check out my other recent posts...more to come, too!
