May Mayhem

May was a very busy month!  Mother's Day, end of T-ball, Memorial Day, and Mama visiting, and Graduations just to name a few.  Mother's Day was, of course, a very good day:)  I love that Keith and the kids make it all about me!!!  It's nice to get a break from washing dishes, cooking, changing diapers, feeding pets, and everything else mommies do each day.  They started off my day with a home cooked breakfast in bed which was very yummy, had gifts in the middle, and ended with dinner out.  We had such a fun, relaxing day.  I'm so blessed to have a loving, caring family!

Here's Karson being so silly!
And the rest of us, too!

It's not often enough that I get a nice pic of all the kids with me.  I'm usually the one snapping all the pics.
Kaleb finished up his baseball season.

He chose #1 so he could be first to bat each time!  Unfortunately, the Coach didn't think that was fair.

This is pretty typical of Kaleb when he got bored of baseball.  First he picks up the dirt...
then he throws it up in the air!  Fun, right???

 Attempting to slide.
Kaleb and his good friend Henry are SUPER silly!!!
Karson and his girlfriend Helen.  He would be thrilled when she came to the games and would follow her around everywhere...so cute!
End of season party at Anthony's Pizza.

All players received trophys with their team name and year

Mama came to visit from Ohio and stayed a few weeks.  We did so many different things while she was here.  Of course I don't have pics for half of it...but we definitely enjoyed her being here!!!  It was very warm and sunny so we made a trip to downtown and let the kids play in the fountains.  That's always a hit!

Next up was swimming and a cookout!

The kids always love to be thrown into the pool:)

The 2 girl cousins (on our side of the family here in SC) have to stick together:)

 Cool dudes!

Next up was Awards Day.  Kassidy got awards for meeting her Accelerated Reader goal, Perfect Attendance last quarter, 4.0 last quarter, and 4.0 all year long!
Her teacher was very creative and thought of individual awards for the entire class, all candy themed to fit their personality or skills.  Kassidy got the Sweet Tart award for obvious reasons:)
Ms. Dodson, soon to be Mrs!!!  She got engaged during class one day and the students got to help hold a sign saying Will you marry me...what a great memory!
Next up...Zoo!  Here's our annual zoo pic on top of the bear with all the SC cousins.  We barely fit them all on the year because they are getting so big!

Last but not least, Kaleb's Graduation from Kindergarten!!!  This was definitely a bittersweet moment for us.  We are so proud of Kaleb, all his accomplishments this past year, his reading and comprehension skills, his writing, his maturity level, etc.  But we are also sad that he is growing up so fast!

Finally got a smile out of him:)
 Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Moore.
We're so thankful Mama was able to be here and celebrate with us!!!
My nephew, Alex, also graduated this year.  Not from Kindergarten, but from 5th grade!  I really cannot believe that he will be in middle school next year...how time flies.  I was glad I was able to attend his graduation, but unfortunately don't have any pics since I had to rush off to work right afterwards.  Way to go Alex!

Stay tuned for June...
