Texas Gailey's: Our first year in Texas wraps up!

WOWEE!!! I cannot believe it's been one whole year since we moved! It's been a very busy year of firsts for our family and lots and lots of exciting things:)

The school year has finally come to an end. First up for awards is Karson!

They sang the cutest little song about Moving Up to 1st Grade:) Here's Karson with some of his buddies.

Kaleb's class performed a play for their first grade buddies, about Pecos Bill. Kaleb was Pecos Bill and had a ton of speaking and acting parts. He did great!!!

She had A-B and A honor roll all year, perfect attendance, and a special President's Award for improvement this year...we're so proud of all her hard work:)

Time for the 5th grade parade! This was so fun!!! They got to walk all the hallways while each class and parents cheered and threw confetti. Here's Kassidy getting ready to spray me with silly string.

June 10th marked Harper's 1 yr birthday:) We treated her to a pup cup at Freddy's. Of course she gobbled it all up in no time!

We all went to see Jurassic World, after watching the first 3 at home. They LOVED it!!!

Kassidy's friend, Layah, invited us over for a swim one afternoon. They are renting a house right by us with a gorgeous view of Lake Travis:)

Here's Karson and Evan, our neighbor, who's going into Kinder in the fall. Since I'm on the PTA board I went to sell some school t-shirts at the Kinder play date. The kids had a fun morning on the playground and eating snow cones:)

Karson was invited to Ella's birthday party at Mt. Claymore. It's a huge indoor play structure, big enough for adults! It also had a small arcade.

Some friends said we had to try this restaurant on Lake Austin. It has a huge covered eating area on a dock next to boar docks. It was pretty cool!

Daddy took the boys and I bowling one afternoon when Kassidy was at a friends house. You know you're a bad bowler when your 6 yr old almost beats you!!!

Saw this cool dude when we were checking out a comic book store. We were hoping for Star Wars "stuff" but didn't find any.

Daddy and Karson went to play disc golf one Sunday afternoon when the rest of us thought it was too hot to be outside;) You should've seen how red Karson's face was when they got home! He said it was Soooooooooo hot!
