My sister Kristi and her family came for a visit from Ohio over our spring break. We were SO excited to have them here!!! Her boys are ages 5, 3, and 9 months so my kids really play well with her kids. We had really nice weather when they were here so we took advantage of that and played outside a lot. Busy with all the kiddos, I didn't have my camera a lot, but did manage to take some pictures.
This is the morning after the boys all slept at my house (girls were at Aunt Kelly's house for a sleepover). They were very good sleepers by the way! Something their Papa LOVED to do was track...so we headed over to the local school and had a little track day of our own. The kids favorite part was long jumping (and playing in the big sand box!). Some were better than others as you will see:)
Karson-hasn't quite figured out how to jump yet.

Austin was really into this!

Big brother Ryan's turn

Alex-the oldest grandchild-definitely has great potential!!! Kristi and I coached him (remembering our dad's instructions when he helped coach us as kids) and he jumped a little further each time...very impressive.

Evan ready for a big leap...this boy can jump high!

Kaleb giving it a go

Kristi had the great idea to build a pyramid with the boys...which they were thrilled about doing!!! Well, all except for the youngest.

One afternoon we went to the kids fountain in the west end downtown. Of course the water was freezing, but the kids didn't mind too much:) In the summer when it's really hot this place gets packed out!

Karson testing out the water, but only his fingertips!

See if you can guess what these crazy kids are staring at...hint...there's a river down there...

Pigeons!!! I bet you guessed ducks. They just loved throwing food and crumbs to these pigeons and almost falling in the water a few times. Kaleb especially was chasing them everywhere...fun fun fun!

All the kids, minus the baby.

My three angels...what, don't you see the halos? Ha ha!

The girls of the bunch, posing like little models of course:)

Karson stealing Kelly's green tea lemonade...he kept coming back for another sip and another sip...

One of the last days we went to Pump it Up. What better way to get out some energy than running, jumping, bouncing, crawling, and climbing? Some of the kids even tried the rock wall.

Alex, always such a great helper

Our last morning together we suprised the kids with a trip to Krispy Kreme...the cousins from Ohio had never been. It's such a fun time because you can see to the room where the donuts are made and glazed and moved around the room to cool on conveyor belts.

Ooh ya...hot n now baby!!! They absolutely melt in your mouth! You have to cut yourself off after 3 or 4 or 5...

Best buddies...Ryan and Kaleb (and only a few weeks apart, too!)

The trip wouldn't be complete without Kassidy feeding baby Brayden:)
I was determined to get a picture of Austin, even though he turned the other way whenever I came close...Gotcha Austin!

Thank you SO VERY much Kristi and Jason for making the long trip down to see us. The kids had a lot of fun together and made many new memories. I was sad to see you go but enjoyed our time together!!! Love you!
