December Happenings

We had a fun-filled December to say the least! And really wacky weather, too! The kids got out there Christmas head gear early to get in the spirit. Our finished Christmas tree...sorry I could not get one without Karson crying. The kids had fun looking at their old ornaments, some with preschool pictures.

Always ready to pose for the camera:)

Our friends from Atlanta came for a visit and brought toys, too!

Dee, Kaleb, Jeanette and Ellie

I don't think Karson likes pictures...

Kassidy's class put on a Gingerbread Man play. She was a cow trying to chase and eat the gingerbread man.

After the play they enjoyed snacks and cookie decorating. Big sis even let her little brother help

My friend Danielle hosts a Christmas party every year...a great time for us girls to chat and the kids to play and do crafts together. Santa always makes a visit, too!

This is as close as Karson would get.

We had some pretty mild Dec days to enjoy playing outside. Here is Kassidy showing off her birds nest she made. Look closely.

Super Kaleb!

He forgot the chair was busted and fell right through!

Big "cheese" Karson!

On Christmas Eve the kids were able to open their presents from Mama. It was nice to spread out the gift opening. Kassidy was excited about her Fancy Nancy doll and book .

Toy Story toys

This Karaoke toy is loved by ALL the kids, so fun!!!

I'm so disappointed I didn't get any pics of our wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at my sister Kelly's house. She (and Donnie) did such a great job cooking us filets...YUM!!! We had such a FUN time eating, drinking, and watching their elf family video.
Christmas morning...Santa brought a Polar Express train for Kaleb, a Unicorn pillow pet for Kassidy, and a cool ball popper for Karson, along with a few other little toys. They had such fun ripping open all the paper and then playing with everything:)

Elmo is always a hit with Karson!

Kassidy was so excited about her gifts she bought at the school holiday shop!
The new bounce house was a huge hit:)

The Polar Express ran lots and lots of miles!

Karson's Kawasaki from Mama

Kassidy's cute in sparkles from head to toe...literally!!! And 2 new scooter, too.

Our biggest Christmas present...SNOW! ! ! ! ! Apparently this hasn't happened in SC in 60 yrs!

The day after Christmas the kids and I headed to Ohio to visit some family. After a long, snowy and icy drive, we made it for my sisters 40th birthday party:) Happy Birthday Kaylin!!!!!

Karson thought Ozzie's dog bed was just for him:)

Kassidy with my newest nephew, Brayden. He is such a good baby!

The "kids" exchange. They all had fun picking out a gift for one of their cousins and then seeing them open it up.

Kassidy bought her youngest cousins and Mama gifts from her Holiday shop.

Kaylin and I exchanged gifts, too. BTW...I've already used the wine glass, candle, and beer markers. THANKS!

Most of the Hauser grandkids...13 in all (3 in SC). All 11 and under.

The fashion divas, Kassidy and Maddie...all dolled up for bowling!

Her new jeans with guess what...sparkles!

The little ones, Austin, Kyle, and Karson. Such good buddies!

The girls...growing up so fast!

The boys...no girls allowed at this table!

We enjoyed an afternoon at the Kalahari (indoor waterpark resort) huge playset and arcade. They had foam balls you could shoot, slides, games with tickets for prizes, etc..
