Keith's birthday fun:)

We kicked off the birthday festivities with lunch out at American Pie Factory. They have such yummy pizza! And suprisingly, really good fried pickles! Yes, you read that correctly, fried pickles! I don't even like pickles, but these were great:) Our friends Anna and Jeremy and their kids Addy and Charlie, and my sister Kelly, hubby Donnie, kids Alex, Evan, and Sara all met us there. We had a really good time chatting! We all laughed at how loud our part of the restaurant was towards the end of our meal with some of the kids crying and some of the other kids running around in the empty back room. It was great:) So is life with little ones:)

Thanks Kelly for taking the pic! Somehow Donnie managed to sneak out of the pic, too!

That night we headed to one of the last Drive games of the year. Kassidy and Kaleb used their free tickets from the library's summer reading program. What a great rewared for their hard work this summer:)

The next day, which was Labor Day, Keith's friend Krish invited us over for a cookout. Luckily this time it was warm and sunny outside:)

Todd and Keith trying out a new game. It was quite fun:) Harder than it looks.
Keith, Todd, and Krish
Kassidy with Blackberry (Krish's dog)...appropriate name don't you think? If you don't know, Krish is the Director of Marketing for Wireless Communications.
Karson not too interested in Blackberry.

Homemade Margeurita anyone? No, I didn't waste my time looking up how to spell that one.

Kassidy hitting it off with the guys! She always wins their attention:)

Our happy baby:)
Swim time! We weren't planning on the kids swimming, but they insisted. Who could say not since it was such a nice day outside? Not us:) But because we didn't have their floats I ended up getting wet, too, going in after Kaleb once! (Luckily just my shorts a little bit)

Blackberry was convinced (no, not pushed!) to try swimming, too!

Brandi keeping the corn away from grabby hands!
Kassidy wanted to take the cupcakes we made for Keith's birthday to the cookout. She and Kaleb brought them out and sang happy birthday to Keith...so sweet:) You can see what part of the cupcake Kaleb liked best!!!

The next day, the actual birthday, we sang again and finished up the cupcakes. The kids were so proud of their creation, even frosted them themselves! Keith especially loved the handmade cards. Then the camera battery died! Ha ha! Well, we had a great fun-filled 2 days with friends and family:)
