First week and a half of June

Yea!  School is out!!!  It's been a super year for all of our kiddos.  Kaleb got straight A's all year long:)  After not even trying to do Accelerated Reader in the fall, he met his goal the rest of the year.  Mrs. Ghent awarded him the Smarties award, for always sharing tid-bits of knowledge.

Kassidy received the Terrific Kid Award this last quarter:)  The class chooses one girl and one boy each quarter that shows certain characteristics.  What an honor!  Kassidy's reading really improved this year, too!  Mrs. Danko was an awesome teacher and we will miss her.  Below is what she made for each kid...inside the star are things each kid in her class said about Kassidy.  That's definitely a keeper!

We enjoyed some lazy days at the pool with our friends before the big move.  Kassidy, Gracie, and Payten show off their skills!

We also enjoyed some days at my best friend Amanda's pool with her kiddos.  All the kids had such a fun time swimming, diving, sliding, finding frogs, and playing with the frogs:)

Colton, Jarrett, Karson, and Kaleb                                                            Sierra and Karson-best buds:)

 Autumn and Kassidy                                                                                       Kaleb

Kate-too shy to smile for me:)                                                                      Kaleb's new pet, Squeakers

Just some cute pics of Kassidy and Sara from the past few weeks:)

My last day of work was a good one.  Everyone took me out to lunch, then celebrated with chocolate cake:)  I truly love what I do and I'll miss everyone, especially my patients!  I've known some of them since they were babies and have seen them every few months.

Some of my Docs...such a terrific group to work for!!!

The beautiful crystal bowl from the Docs engraved with my name and 11 yrs of service.

Dr. Malpass got the kids special gifts, too.  They all got cowboy hats and bandanas and a small toy.  Karson was especially fond of his new hat:)

We had lots of playdates with Jaden, too!  I know Kaleb will really miss him.  They truly are two of a kind:)

This year Kaleb's age group had 2 tournaments.  One in his league and one with Mauldin and Ft. Inn leagues.  For our league we didn't fare well.  But in the second tournament we actually did the best we've done all year!  They were super hitters, scored LOTS of runs, and were making outs!  It was a lot of fun to not only watch them play, but to see their reaction to winning!  They placed 2nd in their division!

And then there's my baby's preschool graduation...I really cannot believe he is that old!!!  I will really miss having him home all day with me next year.

Karson wants to be a police officer when he grows up

Singing cute songs about going to Kindergarten.

 Diploma time!

 So proud:)

Amanda planned one last girls night out for me before the big move.  Little did I know there was a cowboy theme complete with cowboy hats and bandanas, flowers just for me, and a fun night dancing, too:)

Kim (she said she wouldn't let me go!)

Kelly

We went to the Melting Pot.  It's a super delicious fondue restaurant, but too many choices!  We ended up with 2 cheese fondues with fruit, vegetables, and breads to dip.  For dessert we had smores fondue and turtle fondue with rice kris pies, pound cake, brownies, and fruit to dip...YUM! ! ! !

Our cowboy themed table complete with cowboy themed flowers:)

All the girls chipped in for this AMAZING gift!  If I'm feeling lonely or need some encouragement, I just open up the jar and pull out a paper with a bible verse or quote.  There's also some meditation exercises to go with it.  This will definitely come in handy when I'm at the new house, in a new city, I don't know anyone yet, and I really miss my friends and family.  THANK YOU GIRLS!  I love you all and you're the best!  I'm truly blessed to have each one of you in my life!!!

The gang...Kristie, Kim, Kelly, me, Amanda, Sarah, and Lindsey

 Ready for some dancing!

We didn't really know any line dances, so we made up our own! The people here even had dances for slow songs, so we improvised;)

Texas bound!

One last swim with the Gardner clan complete with ice cream:)

As you can see we had a VERY busy first week and a half of June.  Well, the next week was just as busy!  Stay tuned for Texas pics...
