That's right. Our 2 dogs got into a fight yesterday with a big dog. Our dogs were outside in the back yard (we have Invisible Fence) and Keith was just about to leave for work when he heard them bark. He looked out the window and saw a big dog and as he made his way to the back door to shoo it away they started fighting. By the time Keith got out there the big dog had Daisy pinned down by the neck! Luckily Keith was able to get the dog off of Daisy and into the front yard without getting bit himself. The dogs owner was running down the street looking for the dog (it got out the front door when the carpets were getting cleaned) so Keith handed it over and went to check out our dogs. They were both bloody so he packed them up and took them to the vet. Oh, all of this was in his nice suit, too! Jack checked out just fine but Daisy needed 1 of her wounds closed surgically since it was deep and wide. She had a few other small wounds that should heal up on their own. She did fine during the surgery and came home last night. They placed a drain which will come out Friday and her staples will come out in a week. Needless to say the dogs are a little timid to go outside. They hurry out and do their thing and hurry back in. If you're not there to let them in right away they bark or whine. Poor little guys!!! I guess they will need time to feel safe outside again. We are very thankful that Keith was home when this happend...who knows what would've happened if it was me home or worse yet no one home! I took a few pics of Daisy and her battle wounds. She is already feeling better:)
I know what you're thinking...a shirt on a dog? It's supposed to stop her from licking the wound. As soon as this comes off she is licking and biting it like crazy! Might have to get a cone!
Daisy with her hero!!!
Very excited to be in their crates:)

Go Upward Go!
It's that time of year again...basketball and cheerleading! This is Kaleb's first year doing basketball, Kassidy's 3rd year doing cheerleading (2nd time for basketball). They have had 2 games so far and are having a lot of fun! Kassidy is excited to learn a half time dance routine, too:) Kaleb is learning the game. He can dribble pretty well and can almost get the ball high enough to the basket!
I tried to get some pics of them before their first game but they really weren't in the right mood. I'll try again later, too!

Tidbits
Just some pics from Nov and Dec left to share. Karson enjoys wearing his new hat and T-shirt from Jamaica. He was really hamming it up for me:)
Kaleb's class made these cute turkeys from the apples they got during their field trip to Bi-Lo.
The Kindergarteners put on a Thanksgiving Play for family. It was SO sweet listening to them sing songs and recite cute little poems!
Here Kaleb is for the special Thanksgiving poem. Only 12 kids got picked for this one. Each kid was assigned one letter for the word Thanksgiving. Kaleb's was, "I is for ice cream on Thanksgiving Day!"
After the play we were invited back to his classroom for a special taste of the vegetable soup and cornbread the class made. They even made their own butter! Everything was very yummy:)
Sorry these are so small, it was taken with my phone.
Our 3 cutie pies:)
Kaleb sportin' his new Buckeyes T-shirt from his b-day.
Pics from a restaurant one afternoon. Sorry, none of Karson. He was in a bad mood!
The kids love looking at all our ornaments:)
Kassidy always puts the tree skirt on her and dances around:)
Kassidy's putting the tree skirt under the tree.
The many faces of Kaleb...
All done:)
Kassidy's turn
I love this picture:) It shows how sweet and loving they can be to each other. Kassidy was so excited that she could carry Kaleb on her back and Kaleb was thrilled to get a ride!
