Spring Wrap-up

Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit over Mother's Day weekend. What a great surprise!!! We all enjoyed seeing them and playing together outside:)

We had a blast playing Bocce ball!!!

Kaleb finished his season of baseball with some great hits!

We spend a lot of time swimming at the pool:) Karson's not sure about floating by himself yet.

If you look closely at the next few pictures, you will see our little snake friend...up high in a tree!

This is not just a long, thick branch!

And now the rest of baseball...

He's gotten much better with the elbow up!

Running in to home plate...his good buddy Jaden is to his R

And what 5 yr old boy doesn't like to play in the dirt???

Jaden and Kaleb...such great friends!

For Memorial Day weekend we made our annual trip to Charleston to visit my cousin Stephanie, her husband John, and their ADORABLE twin girls, Julia and Eva!!! They just had their first birthday:)

The birthday girls in their new outfits that Kassidy picked out:) Julia on L, Eva on R.

We love hanging out in their pool, too!

Kassidy and Kaleb play really well together in the pool this year! They are both much more confident swimmers, too.

Stephanie does an amazing job juggling 2 crawling/cruising toddlers:)

Julia loved playing with the kids through the gate

The girls fight for daddy's attention:) Aren't they the cutest babies ever? Thanks so much for letting us all stay at your house...it was so much fun and a great pool party, too!

There's always a neat surprise inside the filter!

Freedom Weekend Aloft comes to town every Memorial Day weekend. We are usually in Charleston until Monday, but this year we came home Sunday. We finally got to see all the beautiful hot air balloons flying in our backyard!

This one landed in the field right behind our house...it was amazing to see it so close:)

Monday of Memorial Day weekend we hung out with my sister and her family. The kids had a blast jumping over the noodles!!!

Evan and Kaleb...love those goggles!

Karson doing a new trick...watch mommy!
Kassidy did tap once again. Here she is before her recital, 80's theme if you can't tell.

She LOVES the camera:)

Cousins...Sara and Kassidy...Sara's song was "Walk Like an Egyptian", Kassidy's was "Step by Step" by NKOTB...I used to love New Kids!!!

Sarah and Lindsey...good family friends:)

These next few didn't really turn out well, but wanted to show you anyway. They did a pretty good job remembering their routine...it was quite a hard one in my opinion for only 6-9 yr olds.

Sara knew her routine real well, too!

Award time!
Kassidy's teacher, Mrs. Blanton and her husband came to watch. Kassidy was so excited about it!

(I have to apologize if you got multiple emails about this post. I had some computer issues while trying to edit but finally got it straightened out).

We are glad to be on summer break...no dance, no sports, no school (although we are reviewing), no real schedules and LOTS of fun!!! It was a great last few months and the kids really enjoyed their activities. We'll be spending a lot of time at the pool, playing outside, reading lots of books, and visiting family this summer. Stay tuned!!!
